The Villa

This single storey villa, offering 260m2 enhanced by a 40m2 tower, is located in Ollioules: the city of the olive tree. Superbly decorated, it offers elegance, a sense of well-being and calm.

Upon entering you will discover a magnificent entrance decorated with a small Louis XV console in gilded wood, and a large built-in wardrobe with magnificent vintage Provencal doors. From here, you can access the dining room, the kitchen and the living room or take the spiral staircase to reach the tower.

• Ground level :

You will be dazzled by the vastness of this main living area. With its large bay windows it offers the perfect light, and a panorama as far as the eye can see.

On the right of the living area you will find the lounge area with a sofa and a coffee table. Here you can enjoy your aperitifs and relax in front of the television. To the left of the lounge area is the dining room where visitors dine around a beautiful table, which seats up to 10 people. The comfortable dining chairs are different shades of leather, providing the room with a friendly atmosphere. Hanging above your head are the original chandeliers, which accentuate the traditional beams.

• The kitchen :

From the living room, you can access the spacious and fully equipped kitchen: American fridge, hob, microwave, oven, kettle, dishwasher, toaster, coffee machine with coffee grinder, kitchen utensils; etc.

From here there is access to a second terrace with a summer dining area that can accommodate 10 people. The terrace is equipped with a grill; perfect for enjoying a good meal on beautiful sunny days or evenings. The whole area is bordered by a beautiful flower garden, which leads to the swimming pool. 

• The bedrooms :

If you head down the corridor from the living area you will come to the master bedroom. The master bedroom has a very large and comfortable double bed, a flat screen television, and an en-suite bathroom with a designer bath, a spacious double walk-in shower, two sinks, a heated towel rail and a toilet.

From this bedroom you have direct access onto the terrace.

As you continue down the hall, you will find a second cosy bedroom with en-suite bathroom. This bedroom has two single beds that can be pushed together to form a double bed. The bathroom has a walk-in shower and a heated towel rail. The toilet is separate and can be adapted for people with reduced mobility. This room has access to the terrace.

At the very end of the corridor, you will find a third bedroom decorated in the pure Provençal tradition with a large bed, a flat screen television and an en-suite bathroom equipped with a walk-in shower, a sink and a bidet. The toilet is separate. This room also has direct access on to the terrace.

• Upstairs :

If you take the stairs from the living room you will reach the fourth bedroom, a semi-circular bedroom within the tower. The bedroom has a large bed, a flat screen television, and a bathroom with a shower. The toilet is separate.

The beams and furnishings will take you back to the Provençal life of the last century.

• At your disposal :

At your disposal you will find a washing machine, a dryer, an ironing board, an iron, and storage spaces. All linens are provided, including towels and bathrobes.

Naturally, the house has high-speed WiFi !

• Outside :

In front of the house, under an olive tree, you’ll find an area befitting the author Marcel Pagnol; a delightful place where you can read peacefully or savour a glass of rosé from Provence whilst being lulled by the song of the cicadas; an altogether unforgettable experience.

The salt-water swimming pool is secure. A particularly pleasant place, surrounded by oleanders, it provides a great place to sunbathe on deckchairs or nap under the olive trees.

The house is surrounded by a pine forest and an olive grove and plants and lemon trees embellish the area. While strolling on this property of 3 hectares you will find, at the edge of the paths or in the pine forest, convivial areas with tables and circular benches conducive to relaxing, dreaming and meditation.

A carport with two parking places is located near the villa.

You are 5 minutes from Ollioules, 1 hour from Saint-Tropez, 30 minutes from the Castellet racetrack, and the Fregate golf course, 15 minutes from Toulon, Bandon, Sanary, and Plages.

When you arrive you will be welcomed by Mr or Mrs Somma, the property guardians, who reside on the property. Mr or Mrs Somma will check you in to the property, give you the keys, and ensure the smooth running of your stay.
